2009 Thunderbay Open Water Swim Results

The 2009 TBOWS event saw 12 competitors and many helpers gathering on the Starlight beach on Saturday morning.

Ably organized by Clint Bohlen and his helpers, everyone was in a great mood.

The first group was off at 9 am for the 1/2 mile swim.








The results were:

1. Cheryl Mack, age 37, 9:57
2. Clint Bohlen, age 54, 10:13
3. Vince Call, age 58, 11:49
4. Pam Woody, age 54, 14:40

With the help of many kayakers who helped set the floating marks and to manage the swimmers, both races went off well.





There was some work which was necessary to change the buoys to the one mile course, which took some time. However, at about the 10 am appointed time, the one mile swimmers started.











The results were:
