Open Swim

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer (activities take place in either the shallow end or the deep end of the pool, those wishing to conduct deep water activities must demonstrate their swimming skills). All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.

Lap Swim

Great for the skilled swimmer. Swimming activity takes place in the shallow end and the deep end of the pool. Designed for swimmers with varying ability levels. Moderate and distance swimming sections allow swimmers to swim at their own pace or execute chosen swim workouts.

Moderate Swimming sections include: Lap swimming, mild workouts occasional breaks and efficiency drills (kicks and pulls). Distance swimming sections include continuous swimming, flip turns and fast paced drills with little rest. Circle swimming may be required, lap swimming etiquette rules are posted for your review.

Deep Water Aerobics

This medium to high intensity water workout will get you into great condition in no time! Deep Water Aerobics class works muscle groups with resistance, fast pace and multiple repetitions will get your day off on the right foot!

*Activities take place in the deep end of the pool. Participants must demonstrate safe water treading skills.

Shallow Water Sculpt

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer. Skip the sweat bands and the high priced tennis shoes. This new class offers a total body workout in one hour! Shallow water sculpt class works muscle groups with high repetitions. This class innovatively uses the unique buoyancy, resistance, and movement of water.

*Activities take place in the shallow end of the pool.

Aquatic Boot Camp

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer (activities take place in the shallow end of the pool those wishing to conduct deep water activities must demonstrate safe water treading skills).Aquatic Boot Camp is a high intensity water workout that combines calisthenics, cardiovascular conditioning, core, muscle strength and an AWESOME calorie burn! This class innovatively uses the unique buoyancy, resistance, and movement of water. Aquatic Boot Camp offers a challenging workout that pushes individuals, at their own pace!

Aqua Chi

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer. Aqua Chi is a water class based from Ti Chi. Ti Chi is often called “meditation in Motion” because of its slow, graceful movements. It has been around since 500 BC. People of all ages and fitness levels can do Aqua Chi. 

It’s a gentle, yet very effective workout. Health benefits include weight loss, muscle toning, lowering of blood pressure. Strengthens lungs, promotes proper breathing and reduces headaches. Aqua Chi fights depression and stress. It promotes better concentration and focus. Aqua Chi is good for people who suffer from back pain, arthritis, post mastectomy patients, fibromyalgia, and orthopedic problems.

Water Walking/Running, Rehabilitation and Social Swimming

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer. Buoyancy and water resistance are the perfect combination for low impact muscle building or for continued physical therapy. This program allows for patients to continue their learned physical therapy exercises (all necessary equipment is available) or those who choose can use this time as a wonderful social outlet while performing their desired exercises.

Senior Water Fitness

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer. Offers a safe, comfortable, and effective way for seniors of all fitness levels to get in shape or keep in shape. This class is ideal for patients looking or a low impact workout! Senior Fitness is taught by our Senior Instructor with over thirty years of experience in physical education. Eve Phillips has developed a low impact aerobics and water fitness program that increases flexibility and balance.

*Activities take place in the shallow end of the pool.

Splash Aerobics

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer. Skip the sweat bands and the high priced tennis shoes. Try a refreshing aerobic workout! Splash Aerobics is a medium to high intensity class. Get a great exercise routine without the weight of the body pounding with each move.

*Activities take place in the shallow end of the pool.

Swim Lessons

Great for the swimmer or non-swimmer. These classes are offered to anyone that would like to learn how to swim. All ages welcome. Pre-registration is required. Swim Lessons are four sessions in length and offered Wednesdays during the Fall, Winter and Spring. Summer lessons are offered weekly Monday through Friday.
