Closure March 17 Information Update

We are still working on the water holding tank issue and will be for
about the next month. Everything is a slow processes as most of you
all know. Because of this I am still asking that you take shorter showers
and make sure not to leave the showers running or
dripping to help conserve hot water.

Next week Tuesday March 25th we will be having our annual Optimist Fun Day for all kids in the community to come and enjoy the pool free along with other fun things going on at the school. Because of this the Plaza Pool programming will be cancelled from 9:00am to 3:00pm. We will also be hosting a City Firefighter Sponsored Free Swim forall kids in our community Wednesday March 26th from 12:30-4:00pm. We will have open pool swim from 12:30-2:30 and open Fun Run from 2:30-4:pm and will also have a concession stand where the kids can purchase fun things like hot dogs, popcorn, pop, chips and more.
Please spread the word!!!

Thank you again for all your understanding,

Morning, after the shut down report was...

Just to let you all know, this situation had nothing to do with all the wonderful new heating and cooling units that were installed recently. This new situation happened to a holding tank that was put in when the building was built in 1972 so after that amount of years it was bound to let loose eventually.

The pool is temporarily fixed so I could make sure that I get you all back in the pool as soon as possible. I will need you all to be real careful with the amount of hot water you use due to the temporary reduction in size of our hot water tanks. Please DO NOT let showers run any longer than you have to. The less demand we put on the remaining hot water tanks the better off we all will be.

Please read the information below and I hope you take advantage of the free Thank you all again for your understanding!
