few hours of fun, the Plaza Pool has what you're looking for! We are open seven days a
week, so come by and see what we have to offer! For a complete description of our swims,

The Plaza Pool will be closed for the following
holidays:
- Memorial day
- Easter Sunday
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day (September 5)
- Thanksgiving (November 24th)
- Thanksgiving Friday (November 25th)
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
The Alpena County Plaza Pool will remain open despite Alpena
Public School Closures. If at any time County Buildings are closed
an announcement will be made through any and all media outlets.

Community Education Session, February 11, Beating the Winter Blues, Noon-2pm
Learn the basic skills for overcoming that cabin fever feeling. How can activity impact your attitudes through the deep winter time?
Dan Schackmann, LLP, with more than 20 years of serving our community in mental health will help us understand Seasonal Affect Disorder and what we can do to feel better. Krista Morrow, licensed lifeguard and educator of water activities at Plaza Pool will teach water techniques to energize and uplift our mood.

The fall Coached Workout Sessions Each Saturday 7-8am. For a nominal fee of $5, you can participate in a focused planned swim workout with others who want to learn to swim better.
